TERMS OF SERVICE

Welcome to Mcgg Hosting ("Mcgg," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of mcgg.me and the Minecraft server hosting services, control panel, and related tools we provide (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, deploying a server, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. The Service
Mcgg Hosting provides virtual server instances for Minecraft: Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, along with a web-based control panel for managing those instances, installing modpacks and plugins, scheduling backups, and other related features. Plans, including the Free Server plan, differ in allocated resources such as RAM, CPU, storage, and player slots, as described on our Plans page. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Free Server Plan
The Free Server plan is provided at no cost and is subject to additional limitations, including reduced resources, automatic suspension or "sleep" after periods of inactivity, and lower priority during high-demand periods. We reserve the right to remove Free Server instances that remain inactive for an extended period, with notice where reasonably possible.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Host or distribute illegal content, malware, or material that infringes the rights of others;
- Launch or facilitate denial-of-service attacks, network scans, or other abusive network activity;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' servers, our infrastructure, or any connected systems;
- Circumvent resource limits, billing, or security measures; or
- Violate Mojang's End User License Agreement or Minecraft Usage Guidelines.
We may suspend or terminate any server that violates this section without prior notice.
5. Payment, Billing & Refunds
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis, monthly or annually as selected at checkout, until cancelled. You authorize us to charge your selected payment method for all applicable fees. Refund eligibility, if any, will be described at the point of purchase or in a separate refund policy; absent such a policy, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Your Content & Backups
You retain ownership of the worlds, configurations, mods, and other content you upload to your server ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the rights to use any mods, plugins, or assets you install. While we provide automated backup tools on most plans, we strongly recommend maintaining your own copies of important worlds and configurations. We are not liable for loss of User Content.
7. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and performant but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance, during which the Service may be temporarily unavailable. We will provide notice of planned maintenance where practical.
8. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or any server for violations of these Terms, non-payment of fees, suspected fraud or abuse, or at our discretion to protect the Service or other users. You may cancel your account at any time through the control panel; cancellation does not entitle you to a refund except as described in Section 5.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mcgg Hosting and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Mcgg Hosting is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
